APPOINTMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS

At Tao of Hair, we value punctuality and respect for our time, your time, and our team's time. To ensure a smooth and fair process, we have implemented the following appointment and cancellation policies:

  • Appointment Reservation:

    • Clients are required to place a non-refundable deposit of $50 - $100 to secure their appointment.

    • Deposits must be paid on the day of booking or at least one week before the scheduled appointment.

    • Failure to place a deposit may result in the loss of the appointment.

  • Confirmation and Reminders:

    • A confirmation SMS/EMAIL will be sent at least 5 days before the scheduled appointment to ensure clarity and readiness.

  • Cancellations and No-Shows:

    • Clients who fail to show for a booking, reschedule, or cancel within 24 hours before the appointment will forfeit their reservation deposit.

    • Online bookings will forfeit their deposits if cancelled within 24 hours.

    • Big Colour appointments will lose their deposit if cancelled within 3 days of the appointment.

  • Late Arrivals:

    • If a client arrives more than 15 minutes late without contacting the salon, we reserve the right to reschedule the appointment to respect both your time and the time of other clients.

These policies are in place to maintain a smooth and efficient schedule, ensuring that all clients receive the attention and service they deserve.

REDO AND REFUNDS

Our commitment to exceptional service extends to our redo and refund policies:

  • Communication and Consultation:

    • If you are unsatisfied, we encourage open communication with your stylist to find a satisfactory solution.

    • Quotes provided via email, phone, or other online communication are estimates and may not represent the final cost.

  • Redo Policy:

    • Tao of Hair does not refund or redo at zero cost if a change of mind occurs after a full consultation.

    • In the unlikely event that a service does not meet the agreed-upon outcome, a redo must be requested within 7 days of the initial appointment.

    • A fee will occur if a redo is performed more than 14 days after the initial appointment.

  • Refund Consideration:

    • If a client remains dissatisfied after a redo and consultation, Tao of Hair may consider refunding up to 50% of the service costs.

  • Product Use and Guarantees:

    • Services performed at Tao of Hair are not guaranteed if clients do not use professional products recommended by Tao of Hair.

    • Refunds will not be offered for services performed elsewhere to rectify or alter outcomes of services initially performed at our salon.
