To ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience at Tao of Hair,

we kindly ask that you review our full list of terms and conditions before booking your appointment.

By scheduling an appointment with Tao of Hair, you agree to our Terms and Conditions, including any applicable cancellation fees.

It is the responsibility of each client to familiarise themselves with these terms before their booking.

  • Sustainable Salons:

    1. As a proud member of Sustainable Salons, we charge a GREEN FEE of $3 per client visit which will help 95% of salon waste to be recycled and repurposed.

  • Appointment Reservation:

    1. When booking over the phone or email, clients will be asked to place a non-refundable deposit of 30% (of the total cost of services) to secure their appointment.

    2. Deposits must be paid on the day of booking to secure the appointment.

    3. Failure to place a deposit will result in the loss of the appointment.

  • Confirmation and Reminders:

    1. To ensure clarity and readiness, a confirmation SMS/EMAIL will be sent at least 5 days before the scheduled appointment.

    2. A follow-up confirmation phone call/email will be made a minimum of 3 days before the appointment.

    3. Failure to confirm the appointments 2 days before will result in losing the appointment. A member of our team will give prior notice.

  • Reschedule, Cancellations and No-Shows:

    1. If you need to reschedule, please call, email, or message the salon at least 48 hours before your booking. Your deposit will be transferred to your account as salon credit.

    2. Clients who fail to attend a booking, reschedule or cancel within 48 hours of the appointment will lose their reservation deposit.

    3. If the deposit wasn’t taken and the client cancels within 48 hours of the appointment, a late cancellation fee of 30% of their original service cost and a 50% deposit will be required when making the next appointment.

    4. Clients who are no-shows will be required to pay a no-show fee of 30% their original service cost and a 50% deposit for future appointments.

  • Late Arrivals:

    1. If a client arrives more than 15 minutes late without contacting the salon, we reserve the right to reschedule the appointment to respect both your time and the time of other clients.

  • Communication and Consultation:

    1. If you are unsatisfied, we encourage open communication with your stylist on the day of service to find a satisfactory solution.

    2. Quotes provided via email, phone, or other online communication are estimates and may not represent the final cost.

    3. An accurate quote will be provided on the day of the service.

  • Product Use and Guarantees:

    1. Services performed at Tao of Hair are not guaranteed if clients do not use products recommended by Tao of Hair, such as shampoo, conditioners, and treatments.

    2. Refunds will not be offered for services performed elsewhere to rectify or alter the outcomes of services initially performed at our salon.

  • Redo Policy:

    1. In the unlikely event that a service does not meet the agreed-upon outcome, it is the client’s responsibility to get in contact with us as soon as possible.

    2. We provide a 2-week guarantee for complimentary adjustments to ensure the clients are happy with the result.

    3. A fee will occur if a redo is performed more than 14 days after the initial appointment.

    4. Tao of Hair does not refund or redo at zero cost if a change of mind occurs after a full consultation.

  • Refund Consideration:

    1. Only if a client remains dissatisfied after a redo and consultation, Tao of Hair may consider refunding up to 30% of the service costs.
