There's no Tao without Paye Lin. A magical unicorn being, she is Salon Director, Human Resources Manager, Accounts Department, Assistant Stylist and basically anything else that is required to keep Team Tao going from strength to strength.

Having always had a keen eye and the patience to apply to detailed work, Paye began her tertiary studies at Curtin University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion and Textile Design in 2010. She was immediately hired by Perth fashion icon Ruth Tarvydas and worked as Assistant Designer and Production Manager for five years.

Her work is heavily influenced by the rich history and beautiful flow of Traditional Asian clothing. Incredibly detailed, impeccably structured, Paye also intertwines the neo-culture of Asian fashion of the 21st century.

She met Daniel Yap and they embarked on an extraordinary artistic partnership, supporting each other in achieving their goals and creative visions. Paye is an integral part of Tao of Hair development, growth and execution. She not only offers her support as Director in salon but also in all editorial and show work as Head Costumier.
